Privacy Policy for Apple - Cruise Tycoon Premium

This Privacy Policy applies to the Apple App Store version of Cruise Tycoon Premium, a mobile cruise management tycoon game developed and published by Mateusz Karczewski.

1. Data collection by the app

Cruise Tycoon Premium does not require users to create an account with the developer and does not ask users to provide their name, email address, phone number, postal address, or other contact details inside the app.

Mateusz Karczewski does not directly collect personal information from users through the Apple version of the app for advertising, tracking, or user profiling purposes.

2. Analytics, advertising, and tracking

The Apple version of Cruise Tycoon Premium does not use advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, or third-party tracking SDKs. The app does not track users across other apps or websites.

The project may print debug-only diagnostic messages while the developer is testing a debug build. These debug messages are not a third-party analytics service and are not used for advertising or tracking.

3. Local game data

The app stores game data locally on the user's device to provide gameplay features and preserve progress. Local data may include:

• game progress, money, ships, ship configuration, route progress, tasks, rewards, tutorial state, and settings;
• local purchase entitlement status for unlocked in-app purchase content;
• pending Game Center achievement identifiers when Game Center is temporarily unavailable;
• local notification preferences and in-game timer information.

This local data is used to operate the game and is not sold or shared by the developer for advertising purposes.

4. In-app purchases and App Store payments

Cruise Tycoon Premium may be distributed as a paid app and may offer optional non-consumable in-app purchases, such as unlockable special ships or other clearly described digital content.

Payments are processed by Apple through StoreKit and the App Store. Mateusz Karczewski does not receive or store payment card numbers, bank account details, Apple ID passwords, or other full payment credentials.

The app may receive and store limited purchase-related information needed to unlock content, validate purchases, prevent duplicate unlocks, and restore purchases. This may include product identifiers, purchase status, entitlement status, and transaction-related identifiers where required by StoreKit purchase handling.

5. Game Center

If Game Center is available and the user chooses to use it, the app may use Game Center to authenticate the player and report achievements. Game Center information is processed by Apple according to Apple's privacy policies and the user's Apple Account and Game Center settings.

The app may send achievement identifiers and completion status to Game Center. If Game Center is unavailable, the app may keep pending achievement identifiers locally so they can be submitted later.

6. iCloud and cloud save

The app is designed to use local save data as the primary source of progress. If an Apple iCloud or CloudKit bridge is available, and the user is signed into iCloud with the relevant settings enabled, the app may sync game save data through Apple's iCloud services.

Cloud save data may include gameplay progress and settings similar to the local game data described above. The developer does not operate a separate cloud save server for this feature. iCloud data is handled by Apple according to Apple's privacy policies and the user's iCloud settings.

7. Local notifications

The app may use local notifications to remind users about game events, such as completed voyages, rewards, or other in-game timers. These notifications are scheduled on the user's device. The app does not use a developer-run remote push notification server.

Users can manage notification permissions in iOS Settings.

8. Update checks and external links

The app may include a non-blocking update check to determine whether a newer App Store version is available. The current configuration can operate without contacting a remote developer server. If a remote update configuration URL is enabled in a future version, the app may request a small configuration file from the developer's website or hosting provider.

When opening the App Store page, privacy and account-related information is handled by Apple. If a remote developer-hosted update file is requested, standard web server logs may receive technical information such as IP address, request time, and user agent as part of normal web hosting operation.

9. Apple services, diagnostics, and App Store information

Apple may process information related to App Store downloads, purchases, refunds, crash reports, diagnostics, device settings, iCloud, or Game Center if the user uses Apple services. This information is handled by Apple according to Apple's own privacy policies and the user's settings, not directly by Mateusz Karczewski.

10. Data sharing

Mateusz Karczewski does not sell users' personal data. The Apple version of Cruise Tycoon Premium does not share user data with advertising networks, data brokers, or third-party analytics providers.

Limited data may be processed by Apple as necessary for App Store purchases, Game Center, iCloud, diagnostics, and other Apple platform services selected or enabled by the user.

11. Data retention

Locally stored game data remains on the user's device unless the user deletes the app, clears local app data where available, resets in-game progress where the app provides that option, or resets the device.

App Store purchase history, Game Center data, iCloud data, crash reports, and diagnostics may be retained by Apple according to Apple's own policies and the user's Apple Account settings.

12. User choices

Users can delete local game data by uninstalling the app or deleting/resetting local app data where available. Local notifications can be managed in iOS Settings. App Store purchases and purchase history are managed through the user's Apple Account and App Store settings. Game Center and iCloud features can be managed through the user's Apple Account, Game Center, and iCloud settings.

13. Children's privacy

Cruise Tycoon Premium is a general audience game. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us so that we can review and remove it if necessary.
